Alexander Earns CPA Designation

James C. Alexander IV of Warren, PA is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania. To obtain this license James passed the Uniform Certified Public Accounting Examination, which consists of a four-part, 16 hour exam covering the areas of auditing, business law, taxation and financial accounting. Candidates for the CPA designation must also earn at least a four-year degree in accounting in an accredited institution and fulfill stringent experience requirements.

In addition, Alexander was also promoted to senior accountant at (BWB) Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., according to Kristy Zabrodsky, CPA, Shareholder.

As a senior accountant, Alexander has responsibilities in the areas of compiling, reviewing, and auditing financial statements along with general tax work assignments. Alexander has been employed by BWB since 2004. He is a graduate of Mercyhurst College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Alexander is a member of St. James Church and the Mercyhurst College chapter of Delta Mu Delta (National Honor Society in Business Administration). He resides in Warren, PA with his wife Heather and their daughter Noel.
