Adam Batesky, of Allegany, and Crystal Crowe, of Duke Center, PA, have been named to positions at the Olean office of certified public accounting firm Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C. (BWB, 125 South Union Street, according to Scott Reed, CPA, a shareholder in the firm).

Batesky, an Olean native, joins BWB as a staff accountant and will be involved in the following areas at BWB: compiling, reviewing and auditing financial statements, as well as doing general tax work assignments, Reed said.

Batesky earned a bachelor's and master's degree in May from St. Bonaventure University. He is also a 2001 graduate of Allegany-Limestone Central School.

Crowe will be working in the General Business Services (GBS) division of BWB, where her responsibilities will include, working on clients' monthly bookkeeping, doing sales tax returns, payroll tax returns and personal tax returns.
