Edward Bysiek, CPA and Joel McCann, both of Olean, have been promoted to senior accountant at the Olean office of certified public accounting firm Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C.

Mr. Bysiek and Mr. McCann will be responsible for training and supervising other accountants at the firm; overseeing complete client engagement; and being involved with the client’s middle to upper-level management during engagements and throughout the year.

Both Mr. Bysiek and Mr. McCann have undergraduate and graduate degrees from St. Bonaventure University.

Mr. Bysiek, a native of Wellsville, is president of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in the Olean-Wellsville-Bradford, PA area. He is also a member of the Industrial Management Council (IMC) and the Olean Rotary Club. Mr. McCann is also a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

BWB maintains offices in Olean and Jamestown.
