A director at Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., Adam Batesky, CPA graduated from St. Bonaventure University, where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. At BWB, he performs and supervises audit engagements for school districts, manufacturing entities and insurance companies.

 

He also contributes to the longevity of BWB’s premium services by training and supervising other accountants. Overseeing client engagements, Adam collaborates with our clients’ mid and upper-level management, subsequently offering appropriate recommendations for business improvement. He also presents independent audit reports to boards of directors and audit committees.

When he’s not fulfilling his important duties at BWB, Adam is maintaining his pedigree status as a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the St. Bonaventure Church Parish Cabinet and the Delta Mu Delta National Business Administration Honor Society.

What is your favorite sports team and how far will you go to show your support? Penn State Football—I traveled three hours just to watch the football coach’s 30-minute talk show.

As director for Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., Ryanne John is central to all phases of administration within the firm. In addition to working closely with shareholders on policy setting, problem solving and decision making, Ryanne computes and closely monitors the firm’s budget. Overseeing the marketing and technology departments, Ryanne continuously helps to develop new business for the various departments within BWB and its subsidiaries.

Voted Most Likely to Succeed and Best Dressed in high school, Ryanne joined BWB in 2005. Before that, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Alfred University and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Cattaraugus. Ryanne also is responsible for the design and execution of BWB’s community service programs that support eliminating hunger in the Western New York region. Given the camaraderie, success and results that come from the firm’s community and general celebration events, it’s no wonder Ryanne’s “dream occupation” would be as a “celebrity event planner.”

A director at Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., Ashlie Flanigan, CPA contributes to the financial success of BWB clients through her work in tax engagement, preparing corporate, partnership, individual, Limited Liability Company and fiduciary tax returns, including multi-state returns. She also specializes in complied and reviewed financial statements and assists businesses and individuals with tax planning and projections.  Ashlie contributes to BWB’s succession strategies by training and supervising other accountants at the firm.

Ashlie graduated with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University—and most likely dressed for success when it happened as she was voted Best Dressed in high school. She is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
